TB #240113: January, 2024 - VPN infrastructure upgrade complete
The last of the 2023 security upgrades replacing and centralizing the VPN backbone infrastructure are complete.
Site and end-point connectors should now use the 2023/ 2024 configuration parameters.
These include:
- Sites using non-routable / internal IP addressing (use the TC Connector as your router / end point)
- Sites / Locations using TC firewalls from 2015 and forward (configurations available via your DCRE POC)
- Sites / Locations with older model FWs have been replaced (older models / configurations do not work as of 12/31/2023 23:59)
- Solo office / Discrete point / WFH configurations have been migrated (no change needed)
If your TC box (any model) or TC client (PC, Mac, Android, Apple, etc.) fails to connect at this point, contact your field rep with the error code.
- Ping, traceroute, speed tests and other consumer tools for debugging will not be effective (by design, they were on temporarily to assist transition)
- If you have not upgraded your end point software to version 5.4 or newer, please work with your FR to do so.
- Unregistered / Unmanaged equipment can no longer be used (MAC lockouts via SDWAN controls)
- TB #240126: - SSL issues resolved.
SSL issues have been identified and resolved, please reset end points and reconnect.
-- Contact your TC/DCRE Reps for further assistance.
- TB #240715: - Datacenter disruption / power provider issues: resolved.
Multi-site power outage affecting the east coast data center(s) has been resolved.
-- If you have residual issues, please contact your TC/DCRE Reps for further assistance.
Further updates will be posted to the customer comms board available via your end point system / software / app.
